Warpwolf Stalker -Almost finished

Here is one more almost finished model.

The last few touches it needs are a bit more wash, one more check to see if there are any fixes to be made, and mat varnish.

I'm not too happy with how it came out, but I really don't like this model to begin with, so who cares :)

Warpwolf Stalker - WiP (horrible, horrible stage)

Sometimes WiP can look really horrible. Here is a great example :)

Warpwolf Stalker - humble beginnings

I was toying with the idea of making my stalker as human-like as possible, considering all the fluff around them being humans and warped and all.

The skin base coat is tanned flesh from GW, and it will get washed with devlan mud, and highlighted with a mixture of tanned flesh and elf flesh.

I just hope it turns out good :)

Miniatures vs. Nature

Yesterday I visited my cousin who has a very impressive collection of succulent plants, and I finally saw the fate of the two models i gave him about a month ago.

I have to say I'm impressed :)

A slight change of pace - Warhammer Fantasy dragon.

About a week ago one our local WHF players sold me a model he bought and decided he didn't have time to build - Dark Elf Dreadlord on Black Dragon. I got it for list price (translated to our local currency of course) and it was still sealed in the original shrink wrap.

Today I decided to open the box, and I was amazed by the quality of the model. There were almost no mold lines on the parts, all parts fit perfectly, and the cast is so precise that there will barely be any need for putty to fill up the gaps; in fact, most of the gaps were swallowed by the plastic glue action.

The only thing i don't like about the model for now is that a few pieces need to definitely stay off until other parts are painted, since there is some overlap.

Here are some WiP shots :)

Feral Warpwolves finished

First two models for the Circle army are finished. The photos look a bit glossy since the varnish is not 100% dry yet.

Grey feral warpwolf pt 2. (Its all in the details)

Adding a few simple details is all it takes to take something that looks like a grey blob and turn it into a decent looking model.

Here is the proof :)

Here are the two wolves side by side :)

Grey feral warpwolf pt 1.

The grey feral warpwolf started taking shape today.

His shading is almost completely done. Just a few more washes and highlights, and he will be ready for all small details.

Feral warpwolf pt2. Lets call it finished (for now)

Here is a nice little feral warpwolf that is ready for table-top.

All comments are welcome :)

Gums and eyes got fixed to look slightly more natural :)

Feral warpwolf pt1. (WiP)

My new Circle Orboros army will have two feral warp wolves, and to make things interesting I will paint one in brown tones, and the second in black/grey tones.

For now the brown one got to a level where I can put it on a table top without being embarrassed. Of course, there is a lot more work to do to finish it :)
